Privacy Policy

Logiverse Technologies ("Logiverse", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every institution, staff member, student and parent who uses our institute, coaching and college management software. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have. It is aligned with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

1. Who is responsible for your data

When an educational institution ("the School") subscribes to Logiverse, the School is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data of its students, parents and staff. Logiverse acts as a Data Processor, processing that data only on the School's instructions to provide the service.

2. Information we collect

• Institution data: school name, address, contact details, logo, academic structure.
• Student & parent data: names, date of birth, gender, admission and roll numbers, class/section, photographs, contact numbers, email, address, and where the School enters them, identifiers such as Aadhaar and health/attendance records.
• Staff data: names, contact details, role, salary and attendance information.
• Financial data: fee records and payment transaction references (card/UPI details are handled directly by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partners, not stored by us).
• Technical data: device, browser, IP address and usage logs for security and support.

3. How we use the information

• To provide, operate and maintain the ERP (admissions, fees, attendance, exams, communication).
• To send transactional notifications to parents/staff via SMS, WhatsApp, email and the mobile app, as configured by the School.
• To provide customer support, training and data migration.
• To secure the platform, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use student data for advertising.

4. Consent & children's data

Much of the data relates to children. The School is responsible for obtaining verifiable parental consent as required under the DPDPA before entering a child's data. Logiverse processes children's data solely to deliver the educational service requested by the School and never for tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with: (a) sub-processors that help us run the service (cloud hosting, SMS/WhatsApp, email and payment gateways) under confidentiality obligations; and (b) authorities where required by law. We do not share your data with any other third party.

6. Data storage & security

Data is stored on secure servers in India (or on the School's own servers for on-premise deployments). We apply role-based access control, encryption in transit, regular backups and monitored access. While we follow industry best practices, no system is completely immune to risk.

7. Data retention

We retain data for as long as the School's subscription is active and as needed to provide the service. On termination, data is returned or deleted per the School's instructions, subject to any legal retention requirement.

8. Your rights

Subject to the DPDPA, data principals may request access to, correction of, or erasure of their personal data, and may withdraw consent. As Logiverse is the processor, such requests should first be raised with your School (the fiduciary); we will assist the School in fulfilling them.

9. Cookies

Our website and application use essential cookies for login sessions and security, and basic analytics to improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
